Inspection, Integrity and Training Services for Oil and Gas

Four services that share the same engineers: independent inspection, asset integrity assessment, certification training delivered at your site, and certified personnel supplied on contract. Buy one, or buy the sequence.

What we do

Excellence Integrity Management works on both sides of asset integrity — the services delivered to operators, and the certification that qualifies the engineers doing the work.

Most companies in this market do one or the other. An inspection agency sells inspector days. A training provider sells courses. The gap between them is where problems live: inspectors who hold a certificate but have never seen the damage mechanism it describes, and integrity reports written by people who have never had to defend one to a regulator.

We run both, deliberately. The engineers who carry out inspection and integrity assignments are the same people who write and deliver our certification training, which means the training uses field examples rather than textbook ones, and the field work is done by people who know how the code is examined rather than only how it is applied.

For an operator that translates into something practical: you can bring us in to do the work, to build the capability in your own team, or to supply the people — and get the same technical standard in all three.

The four services

What we can be brought in to do

Each of these stands on its own. Most clients start with one and add a second once they see how the first went.

How they connect

Why these four sit together

A typical sequence looks like this. Inspection finds wall loss on a circuit that nobody had flagged. Integrity assessment establishes whether it is a repair, a monitoring point or a fitness-for-service case, and resets the inspection interval. Training closes the gap that let it go unnoticed — usually because the site team could read a thickness reading but not the damage mechanism behind it. Recruitment fills the seat that the workload analysis showed was missing all along.

You do not have to buy the sequence. Plenty of clients only ever use one service. But when a scope crosses two of them, it is handled by one team with one reporting standard rather than three suppliers pointing at each other — which is usually the difference between a finding that gets closed out and one that gets argued about.

Sectors

Where we work

The equipment changes, the damage mechanisms mostly do not.

Refining & petrochemical

Fixed equipment, columns, exchangers and piping circuits in continuous service.

Upstream oil & gas

Wellhead equipment, separators and flowlines, including sour service duty.

LNG & gas processing

Cryogenic and high-pressure systems where material selection carries the risk.

Pipelines & terminals

Transmission lines, tank farms and loading facilities, including coating and CP.

Fabrication & EPC

Source inspection at works and yards supplying projects across the region.

Power & utilities

Boilers, pressure parts and associated piping under the same inspection codes.

Coverage

Where we mobilise

Assignments run from our Dubai and Bengaluru offices, drawing on an inspector and instructor network spread across the region.

Gulf

UAE · Saudi Arabia · Qatar · Oman · Kuwait · Bahrain

Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ruwais, Jubail, Yanbu, Dammam, Ras Laffan, Sohar, Duqm, Al-Zour and the surrounding industrial areas.

India

Mumbai · Bengaluru · Jamnagar · Vadodara · Visakhapatnam · Chennai

Source inspection at Indian works supplying Gulf projects, plus training and integrity work for domestic operators.

Elsewhere

On request

We mobilise outside these markets where the scope justifies it — including Malaysia, Iraq, Egypt and West Africa. Send the location with your enquiry and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.

How to start

What happens after you get in touch

STEP 01

Describe the problem

Not the solution. Send the scope, the specification, the equipment list or just the situation. Most enquiries turn out to need a different mix of services than the sender first assumed.

STEP 02

We come back with a shape

What we would do, which service or combination it falls under, roughly what it takes, and where you would be better served by someone else. That last one happens more than you would expect.

STEP 03

Named people and a quote

Once the scope is agreed you get the named engineers, their certificates, and a price against a defined deliverable rather than an open-ended rate.

STEP 04

One reporting standard

However many services the scope crosses, it is one team, one format and one escalation route. You are not managing suppliers against each other.

Not a company enquiry?

If you're an engineer, not an employer

Everything above is bought by companies. If you are pursuing certification yourself, these are the routes in.

FAQs

Questions we get before a first conversation

Yes, and it commonly does. An inspection campaign that produces findings usually needs integrity assessment to decide what those findings mean, and often exposes a training gap in the site team. We quote it as one scope with one reporting standard rather than as separate engagements.

Both. Operators appoint us directly for in-service inspection, integrity studies and training. EPC contractors and equipment purchasers appoint us for source and vendor inspection during project execution. Where we act for a purchaser at a vendor’s works, we are explicit that our duty runs to the purchaser.

No. Certification is issued by API, AMPP and TWI directly, and statutory certification sits with accredited certifying authorities. We provide inspection and integrity services using certified personnel, and we prepare engineers to sit those certification exams — but we do not award the certificates.

Assignments range from a single vendor inspection visit to multi-week campaigns and full team certification programmes. We are a technically-led organisation rather than a volume contractor, which suits scopes where the judgement matters more than the headcount. If your requirement is primarily about supplying large numbers of bodies at the lowest rate, we are probably not the right fit and will say so.

The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and India are our regular markets, and we mobilise elsewhere on request. Lead time outside the UAE and India depends on visa and site access requirements, which vary by country and by operator — send the location and required date with your enquiry and we will confirm feasibility before quoting rather than after.

Describe the problem, not the solution

Most enquiries need a different mix of services than the sender first assumed. Tell us the situation and we will tell you honestly what it needs — including when that is nothing from us.
