Front End Engineering and Design (FEED)

Program Overview

Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) is a comprehensive technical training program focused on the critical early phase of project development, where technical, commercial, and safety decisions are defined to ensure project success.

The program covers key FEED activities including scope definition, process design, P&ID development, equipment sizing, layout planning, cost estimation, and schedule development. Participants will gain practical insight into how FEED supports risk reduction, cost control, and smooth transition into detailed engineering and construction.

This training also emphasizes safety and risk studies such as HAZOP, constructability reviews, and decision-making processes required to achieve Final Investment Decision (FID) while minimizing design changes, delays, and cost overruns.
